It is good to have [[Goals (index)|goals]]. They set a direction in life and can be a source of meaning. When setting goals, you are forced to think about what you want. When thinking about what you want, though, it's good to consider- "what does _the universe[^1] want?_" Don't put the blinders on and ignore reality. [[Gravity Problems]]s exist. [[Choose Your Problems]].
You may want to be the best high jumper in your school, but if you're 5'4" and stocky, _the universe_ would rather you did shot put.
You may _want_ to build a new taco place in Mass Street, but the universe is saying "we have enough of these".
You may want to be a member of the "1,000 lb club", but maybe you're 6'9" and the leverage just doesn't work that way.
