> [!tldr] We often think of moonshots as giant leaps of faith - they aren't
The term "Moonshot" is for a project that aims to "shoot for the moon".
An *actual* moonshot takes massive amounts of [[Project Decomposition]] and planning.
There was a book called "By spaceship to the moon" that pre-dated the Apollo missions and slowly, chapter by chapter, walked slowly through the problems that you'd have to solve to get there.
