One of the genuine benefits of [[Bullet Journaling|Bullet Journal]]s, [[The Bullet Journal Method]], the [[Medium Method]] is the [[Desired Difficulty]] of writing things by hand. **I am a huge believer in this benefit**.
I have found that the restrictions that come with [[Plaintext]], in particular [[Obsidian]][^1] , are similar to what I find with writing things by hand. I write more slowly. I don't copy/paste stuff.
The merits of bullet migration seem similar to the benefits you'd get if you were to commit to [[todo.txt]]. (which I don't).
