> [!tldr] Where [[My Notes]] come from, how they get here, and where they go This was done using [[Obsidian Canvas]]es, which are not (yet) supported by [[Obsidian Publishing]]. So. I assume this will won't work on the [[Gillespedia Home|Gillespedia]] for quite some time. ![[My PKM Overview.canvas]] ## Process Since that graphic won't work, here's a rough outline. 1. Find something interesting in a source (book, video, article, etc) or think of something 2. Roughly put it into words in my head 1. If it evokes (or comes with) an image, draw (or use) the image 2. If I need more clarity on it, chat with an LLM 3. Consider if the thought is new to [[My Notes]] or if it is an addition to an existing note 1. If new - create new note with my Note Template 2. If existing - open existing note 4. Write the content in my own words. Include any image(s). 5. Link any content to related existing notes ## Tools 1. [[Obsidian]] - where the notes live and [[Writing is Thinking|the thinking takes place]] 1. [[Obsidian Publishing]] - hosting [[Gillespedia Home|Gillespedia]] 2. [[Quartz Publishing]] - hosting my Blog, which often reflects note content 2. [[Excalidraw]] - my preferred digital doodling tool 3. [[iOS Reminders App]] - inbox for potential notes if I'm away from a keyboard 4. [[Large Language Models|LLMs]] like ChatGPT, Gemini, etc - help sorting out thoughts **** # More ## Source - self - Concept borrowed from here: https://notes.dsebastien.net/30+Areas/33+Permanent+notes/33.02+Content/Overview+of+my+PKM+System
