Something I've noticed when looking at and building websites is how *few* of the characters in the [[HTML]] actually get displayed on screen. Sure there are reasons for all the other characters, but those reasons don't carry much *value*. > Very little of what's stored, transmitted, and computed is actually [[Business Value|valuable from the users perspective]]. Businesses spend million on software and developers to manage complexity that, realistically, could probably be done using incredibly basic tools. ChatGPT introduced me to the term [[Accidental Complexity]], which is the complexity *on top of* the essential irreducible complexity of a given problem, that we take on through the tools & processes we use. This is red tape.
