A "Morning Routine" is something we all have, with a possible exception of shift workers and people with weird scheduled. The sequence of activities that take place between waking up and the start of the workday (or, perhaps, everything up to lunch) could be considered part of a morning routine. Many famous people over the years have spent time and working on, writing about, and talking about a morning routine. Two that come to mind are [[Benjamin Franklin]] and [[Huberman Labs|Andrew Huberman]], but even before I heard of Huberman or was aware that Franklin had a morning routine I was interested in developing (or perhaps _theorizing_ could be a more accurate term) one of my own. My morning routine has changed a lot over the past ~2 decades to fit the needs of my life and circumstance. I don't think mine right now is particularly "ideal", but it's more or less fine. A morning routine has a slightly less often thought about counterpart: the [[Nighttime Routine]] # Common elements of a morning routine - Making [[Caffeine Content|coffee]] - Picking out clothes (unless you did that the night before) - [[Ideal Exercise Regiment|Exercise]] - Or do a morning walk to get [[Sunlight Exposure|sun]] to help with your [[Circadian Rhythm]], or some stretching - Do morning papers, reflecting on things or setting intentions for the day - Do a [[Daily Post It]] - Preview your [[Calendars are the Most Important Productivity Tool|calendar]] - Take vitamins & medications **** ## Source - Various over the years, but this is all off the top of the dome ## Related
