A massively effective habit - learn how to use the tools you use *very well*. Spend the time with them to familiarize yourself with how they work early.
This doesn't mean learn everything you ever use like crazy. It means for those [[Pareto Principle|Vital Few]] tools that are really *worth it* – spend the time to learn how to make them sing.
Tools I've mastered:
- [[Spreadsheet|Excel]].
- [[Obsidian]].
Tools know well:
- My phone.
- [[VS Code]].
- My drill.
- [[More is Unnecessary, Less is Impossible.|A hammer]].
- My computer.
Tools I'd like to know well:
- [[Python]].
