A meta-study looking for patterns and trends in what makes a "successful" relationship concluded with the somewhat surprising, somewhat disappointing abstract: there isn't really any factors your can use to determine in any statistically significant manner if two people will stay together long term. There were no strong [[Correlation]]s between successful relationships and trait interactions *between* the couple. The best you can do is look at traits of **individuals**. People with a growth-oriented mindset, people with secure attachment style, and those who are generally "happy" people are more likely to be in successful relationships - _regardless_ of who they're with. I think I'm all three of those things. Sick. **** # More ## Source - [[Don't Trust Your Gut]] ## Related - [[Date Selection Stats]]
