> [!tldr] An index card-sized encapsulations of content are composable
This is a related but distinct point from my new note on [[Card (UI Element)]].
The index card is really an ideal size for encapsulating the [[Everything can be Said in Six or Fewer Pieces|six or fewer pieces]] that could be said about a "thing". There's a reason [[Index Cards of Advice]] struck me.

They also work well for designing a reader-friendly message. You could treat index cards as [[Modularity|composable modules]] for building really *any* sort of content.[^1]
Index-card sized chunks of content can be:
- texted, tweeted, or otherwise used individually
- paired or used individually as parts of a slideshow / presentation
- strung together to form a blog post
- rigorously built into a full blown book, paragraph by paragraph
Each card is a [[Intermediate Packets|packet]] of content that can be developed.
The card *templates* can be improved upon over time as well. This is a [[Build On Yourself]] opportunity. Actually ideal for a full note of itself: [[Index Card Sized Module Templates]]
[[Index Card Rules]] also took my a while to arrive at.
