When it comes to IT Project realization, there are 5/6 different _types_ of actors.
There are **Business** actors and **IT** actors. They represent business & IT-considerations, respectively.
There are **Strategic** and **Tactical** actors. They represent long-term and shorter-term goals, respectively.
Then there are **External** actors, which represent the views of _industry_ outside the business. All the types above are _internal_, which sort of make a ~6th-ish category that's really just a superset of the others.
[[IT-Business Alignment]] involves the first 4 types acting in concert with one-another, possibly under the guidance of the 5th type.
[[Enterprise Architecture]] is meaningful insofar as it enables better shared [[Mental Models]] & communication between the actors to empower them to make the right decisions.
