A [[Meta Cognition]] note. I am a _hands on learner_, but **I think in pictures**.
As I learn about a new subject, system, or process I begin drawing up mental [[Graph]]s and [[Venn Diagram]]s. I can "see" the plot of a graph that describes my theorized results of (whatever I'm pondering). These mental images will evolve in my mind, almost like an animation. A `.gif` file playing mentally in variations until I find something that most optimally describes the situation or seems to solve whatever problem I'm considering. I draw nodes in my head and start connecting them. Sometimes these mental diagrams have been so "stuck" in my head that I've actually in effort to "move on" - like listening to a song that's stuck in your head to get it out. I remember doing this with the [[Dependency Chains are the Victim of Statistics]] note.
Often I will _literally_ start drawing those things if my [[~7 - The Limit of Simultaneous Info|Working Memory]] is overloaded.
This is just a realization I had while thinking about my own thinking. I suspect many folks are this way, but presume not everyone.
This makes me a [[Visuospatial]] thinker, I just learned.
