Heat Exposure, like [[Cold Exposure]], is a good idea to incorporate in your life. Our [[Thermoneutral]] life does not promote [[Subcategories of Health|various aspects of health]]. There is ample evidence to suggest that those who voluntarily and regularly expose themselves to **saunas** for ~20 minutes at a time 3-4 times per week are less likely to develop a number of [[Metabolic Health]] conditions. Interestingly (to me) there is a particular type of protein called **heat shock protein** that is activated by heat shock. Per [[Good Energy (book)]], there is some likely benefits of activating these proteins w.r.t. [[Inflammation]] and avoiding [[Insulin Resistance]].
