> [!tldr] Works well on computers if you default SVGs to open in DrawIO I've written about [[Excalidraw in Obsidian]] and [[Markdown Graphics Anxiety]]. So what about [[DrawIO]] in [[Obsidian]]? There are some Community Plug-ins that marry Obsidian and DrawIO together. However, I've found the best workflow **on PCs specifically** is to select DrawIO as your default application for [[SVG]]s, then save all drawings you make as SVG. You can then right-click the drawing in Obsidian and select `Open with default application`, at which point it opens & re-inflates the drawing in DrawIO on your computer. Simple `ctrl+s` saving from there will reflect the changes you make back in Obsidian. It's a great workflow, provided you're on a computer & you're cool with opening **all** SVGs in DrawIO by default. This is the exact behavior I was trying to force [[Excalidraw]] into before I figured out [[Excalidraw in Obsidian]]. **** # More ## Source - self
