Body organization is important for avoiding long-term complications from things like poor posture, etc. A technique you can utilize to determine if a given position is *probably* "good" is to simply take the deepest breath you can. Is it difficult to maximally fill your chest down to the diaphragm? If so: it's probably a pretty healthy position. If not, you're in a bad spot and should re-organize yourself.
