He's written several books that are all touting a vegan-like diet that he calls the "whole food, plant-based (WFPB) diet". Basically you should get most or all of your calories from eating plants, the whole plants (not oils derived from them).
He'd say "[[Eat Food - Not Too Much - Mostly Plants]]" should instead say _**only**_ plants.
His research and claims are not (exactly) upheld by other diet-focused Drs. I've read. They all do agree that **limiting** meats is probably a good idea, though.
