The 1000 Pound Club is a colloquialism for people who are able to lift a combined total of >= 1000 pounds across [[Squat]]s, [[Bench Press]], and [[Deadlift]]. Hugh Jackman achieved this in his late 40s,[^1] so perhaps it's not too late for me.
I am nowhere near this number. Using all-time best lifts I'm barely in the 800 pound club. A club that doesn't actually exist.
