Phones are incredibly useful, but also incredibly easy to misuse. Often times you don’t even realize that you’re using your phone as a numbing device, rather than using it to do something actually useful. This practice brings mindfulness into your phone use.

A couple questions to ask yourself when you start looking at your phone:

  • What am I about to do with this?
  • Why am I doing it now?

put a rubber band around your phone to pull you out of the mindless state and remember to ask the questions
